On April 11th, Adobe announced the upcoming release of Creative Suite 5.5, slated to begin shipping in May. More than just an update to Acrobat X Pro, CS 5.5 brings greater than ever support for cross-platform, multi-device applications, enhanced capacity for developing HTML 5 content and interactive design. Updates include: Acrobat X, InDesign 5.5, Dreamweaver 5.5, Flash CS5.5 Professional and more. To see all that CS5.5 has to offer, visit Adobe's website. With all the new features will come a new price tag--departmental pricing is anticipated to go up 5%, but if your department orders by April 29th, you can buy at the CS5 price and be eligible for a FREE upgrade to CS5.5 when it launches.
