Lis Chabot, College Librarian, presented via a webcast at the 2011 Conference of the Association of College and Research Libraries, March 30-April 2, 2011 in Philadelphia. Lis and her co-presenter, Meg Scharf, Associate Director for Library Public Services at the University of Central Florida, discussed Listening to Users... Closing the Feedback Loop: Just Do It! During the webcast, various approaches and methods used to collect user feedback were discussed, including online comment services, mystery shoppers, affinity diagrams, and consensograms. Lessons learned and best practices were also shared. More than 125 academic librarians from around the United States participated in the live webcast, submitting questions in real time and sharing ideas. |
