Professor Doebler has recently worked with high school students from Canandaigua Academy and Orchard Park. The schools came to campus where Professor Doebler engaged the ensembles in a variety of movement exercises designed to enhance their musicianship and performance.

He was also invited by Ward-Melville High School (Long Island) to conduct their orchestra and choral ensembles in a Gala Concert at Tilles Center. The repertoire included movements of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Mozart’ Requiem, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, Brahms’s German Requiem and an Stolkowski arrangement of Bach’s Komm süsser Tod. The concert celebrated their retiring orchestra conductor, Phil Preddice. The choral conductor and Ithaca College alumna Linda Contino prepared the choral ensembles. The concert took place on April 6, 2011.
