Are you itching to get outside and do a little bit of running or walking?  Anxious to see all the beautiful flowers and trees and they burst into bloom around campus? Never had a chance to be the person to set the benchmark for a new race course and want to reach that personal goal?  Have we got a race for you...introducing the new Logan's Run 5k Run/Walk race route...a great way to spend a morning touring the campus while raising money for the American Cancer Society!

The third annual Logan's Run 5k Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, April 30th, beginning at the track at Butterfield Stadium.  If you've run our race before and thought the hills were a bit steep, our new route will make your day!  With a graceful sweep across campus the new route will take you to all ends of our magnificent campus with a fun new course.  The full course map is available at our race website, www.ithaca.edu/ichope (click at the top of the page).

We know you can't wait to join us, so here are the details you'll need:

DATE:  Saturday, April 30, 2011, rain or shine

TIME: Race check-in / registration begins at 8:30 am; race starting time is 10:00 am

COST: $10 student pre-registration / $15 non-student pre-registration. Registrations should be postmarked by April 25th to receive lower rate. $20 registration day of the race. All members of Weight Watchers are eligible for a $10 registration fee no matter when they register.  Checks should be payable to the American Cancer Society.
