The Art History Department will sponsor its 3rd annual Senior Symposium, on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, from 6:00 to 8:30 P.M. in the Campus Center's Clark Lounge.  The Symposium will feature seven presentations by senior Art History majors, as well as food and refreshments, which you can enjoy throughout the evening.

The presentations are scheduled as follows:

• 7:05pm Walker Robinson, “American Organic: Taliesin & the Farnsworth House” (Prof. Nancy Brcak; Honors Independent Study)
• 7:25pm Ben Johnson, “A Brief History of Middlefield, New York, and the Joshua Pinney Tavern” (Prof. Nancy Brcak)
• 7:45pm Rebekah Shyloski, “Public Art and Engagement: The Work of Judy Baca” (Paul Wilson, Independent Study)
• 8:05pm Abigail Jamiel, “Framing Counterculture Protest Art of the 1960s” (Prof. Nancy Brcak; Honors Independent Study)

After the last presentation, we will award the Art History Prize.  So please join us for an interesting evening of talks and conversation.
