Congratulations to Michelle Bizon the recipient of the 2011 Ithaca College Student Employee of the Year award!

Student Employees perform an invaluable service to our campus with enthusiasm, dedication and initiative. Along with our annual celebration of appreciation we honored one Student Employee with an Ithaca College Student Employee of the Year Award.  Each department on campus was allowed one student nomination. Ithaca College employs over 3,000 student employees each academic year, selecting just one student nominee was a hard task.

The Student of the Year Award is based upon their outstanding qualities: reliability, quality of work, initiative, professionalism, and uniqueness of contribution. 

Congratulations to Michelle Bizon for winning Student Employee of the Year!

Michelle has been working in the Office of OSEMA since the Fall of 2009 as a Student Leadership Consultant. Michelle was nominated by Michele Lenhart, Director of Student Leadership and Involvement.

Michele Lenhart considers Michelle to be “the cornerstone of the Student Leadership Institute.”

“Michelle has a work ethic to be admired! Her exceptional attention to detail and high quality of work make her a true pleasure to work with.”

Michelle’s goal for the past semester was to expand her skill set with marketing-related projects and projects that increase her interaction with students. She is dedicated to helping attract students to become more involved leaders and knows firsthand the power and confidence such an opportunity can provide.
