Ithaca College

I am pleased to announce the search committee that will assist me in identifying the next vice president for institutional advancement at Ithaca College, to take office after the retirement of Shelley Semmler in February 2012. Vice President Carl Sgrecci will chair the committee. He will be joined by Professor Nancy Brcak, Associate Counsel Traevena Byrd, Dean Diane Gayeski, Professor Emeritus Arno Selco, Trustee Mike Serventi, and Leana Testani, class of 2012. 

In addition, we have retained Mr. Jack Gorman of the firm Isaacson, Miller to assist us with the search, which will be national in scope. The bulk of the search process will take place during the fall semester, with campus visits by finalists anticipated in late October or early November 2011. It is our goal to have a new vice president identified by early December to ensure a smooth transition a few months later.
