Ithaca College

There has been a very successful ongoing speaker series at Longview, a retirement community located across and up the road from campus, since the facility’s partnership with IC began in Spring 1999.

These monthly presentations generally take place on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the Longview auditorium, though it is sometimes possible to schedule on other days and times.  Speakers are currently needed for June and August.  Dates available in June are 6/1 or 6/15 and in August 8/17, 8/24 or 8/31.

Topics can be academic in nature, or related to areas of personal interest. Poetry readings, slide shows, films, and music, dance and dramatic performances are also welcome. An appreciative audience is guaranteed!
