It is with great sadness that I must inform the campus community of the passing Thursday evening of a former colleague and good friend Bill Fiorello.

Bill was the Duplicating Machine Operator for Variable Data, Print and Media Technology Services and had been an employee at the College from 1991 until he retired in 2009.  Having moved to Norwich to be closer to family, Bill found the retired life very satisfying.  We will miss Bill dearly and we extend our condolences to his extended family and close friends.

A memorial service will be held at Wilson Funeral Home, Norwich, Saturday May 21 at 11:00am. Condolences to family can be sent to: wilsonfh.com

So very sorry to hear of Bill's death. Bill was always helpful and friendly when I visited the print center. Outside of IC, he was also a talented print designer and enthusiastic volunteer. My condolences to his family and close friends.

I remember Bill as a friendly and thoughtful man, and also as someone who stood up for his fellow workers, particularly his LGBT ones, when it was not always popular and even safe to do so. I salute his memory.

It is with deep sadness that I extend my condolences to Bill's family and friends. We had many enjoyable times conversing when I needed Bill's assistance at the copy center. He was always very helpful and cheerful. He was a wonderful and kind man. So sorry to hear this sad news.

Bill was a wonderful person--knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, amusing, and more, from the tiny room across from the Dean's office to the spacious new area later on. He was always there in our memories although he retired, and will stay there even now.

I missed Bill when he retired and am very sorry to hear of his passing. When I first started visiting the Duplication Center because of my procrastination, Bill was always there with a gruff, "OK, we'll get it done." Over the years we'd chat while waiting for an order to be fulfilled. God bless you, Bill.
