At its May meeting, the Ithaca College Board of Trustees approved promotions for 12 faculty members. In addition, Donald Beachler, associate professor in the Department of Politics, was granted tenure. He received his Ph.D. and M.A. from Cornell University and his B.A. from West Virginia University.

Rose Millspaugh was promoted from clinical instructor to clinical assistant professor in the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences. She has an M.S. from Ithaca College and a B.S. from the University of Vermont.

Chris Hummel and Todd Lazenby were promoted from clinical assistant professors to clinical associate professors in the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences. Hummel holds an M.S. from Ithaca College and a B.S. from Eastern Michigan University. Lazenby received his M.A. and B.S. from Ohio State University.

The following faculty members were promoted from associate professor to full professor:

• Susan Allen-Gil, Department of Environmental Studies and Sciences. She received her Ph.D. from Oregon State University, M.E.M. from Duke University and B.S. from Saint Lawrence University.

• Diane Birr, Department of Performance Studies. She received her D.M.A. from the Eastman School of Music; M.M. from Indiana University, Bloomington; and B.S. from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point.

• Richard Faria, Department of Performance Studies. He received his D.M.A. from the State University of New York, Stony Brook; M.M. from Michigan State University; and B.M. from Ithaca College.

• Naeem Inayatullah, Department of Politics. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Denver and his M.S. and B.S.S. from Michigan State University.

• Keith Kaiser, Department of Music Education. He received his Ph.D. from Florida State University, M.M. from the University of Redlands and B.M.E. from the University of Wyoming.

• Paige Morgan, Department of Performance Studies. She received her D.M.A. and M.M. from the Eastman School of Music and B.M.E. from the University of Kansas.

• Prithwi Raj Subramaniam, Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign; M.S. from Purdue University; and B.E. from the Agricultural University of Malaysia.

• Susan Swensen, Department of Biology. She received her Ph.D. and M.S. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville; and B.A. from Grinnell College.

• William Tastle, Department of Management. He received his Ph.D. and M.B.A. from the State University of New York, Binghamton; and M.S. and B.S. from the State University of New York, Fredonia.
