On Saturday, June 18th, from 5:00-6:00 pm, the Johnson Museum is hosting a party to honor the exhibition Homegrown: The Harrriott Collection of Local Art. After his wife Mary Lou’s death, Peter Harriott set up a fund at the museum to buy works by local artists, and this event is a celebration of that wonderful gift to us and the community from the Harriott family. The exhibition will also include loans from the Harriotts' personal collection, including two of works by Retired Professor of Art Harry McCue.
