ITHACA, N.Y. – Ithaca College finished in 19th place in the final standings for the Learfield Directors' Cup. The standings for the Directors’ Cup (formerly known as the Sears Cup) are determined by a school’s finish in NCAA playoff competition in selected sports. Ithaca, who placed 22nd in last year's standings, is one of eight schools to have placed in the top 30 in each of the award's first 16 years. With 449 schools in Division III (more than any other level of the NCAA), the Bombers’ performance ranks them ahead of 95.55 percent of the schools competing at the Division III level.
