Ithaca College

Sheraz Iqbal, a senior mathematics major, was recently elected as a Regional Communications Coordinator (RCC) on the Regional Board of Directors for the Northeast Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (NEACURH).

NEACURH is one of eight regional organizations in NACURH, the National Association of College and University Residence Halls.  NACURH is considered to be the largest student run organization in the world. It is completely student run and brings together over 400 schools from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, and Qatar. NACURH promotes living on campus as an integral part of the college experience, and strives to provide resources to help member schools create the ultimate residence hall environment and experience.

Sheraz submitted a written bid and presentation for the RCC position at the May 2011 NACURH National Conference at Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. 

Sheraz most recently served as President of Ithaca's Residence Hall Association (RHA).  Congratulations Sheraz!  We are proud of you!
