Instead of using Blackboard, use Sakai! Sakai, the new online learning environment replacing Blackboard, is now available for Fall 2011 courses. See this recent Intercom article for more details.

To become familiar with Sakai, documentation, workshops and drop in support are available:

ITS is also offering sessions about organizing and designing your course in Sakai. These sessions are in CET, Job 102, and are currently scheduled for:

• Wednesday August 24, 2011 from 12:30 - 1:30 pm
• Friday August 25, 2011 from 1-2 pm
• Monday August 29, 2011 from 11-Noon,

Blackboard will be available until August 2012. All faculty are encouraged to use Sakai for new course creation and to move materials from Blackboard to Sakai by that time.
