Alex Krasser '09 (Acting), Stars in Opera about Bill ClintonContributed by Mark Temelko on 07/06/11 Alex Krasser '09 (Acting) played the title character in Billy Blythe, a folk opera about Bill Clinton's youth. The opera, composed by Bonnie Montgomery and based on Clinton's 2004 memoir, My Life, has been featured in numerous places, including The New Yorker, the BBC, Time, and USA Today. When we knew him on south hill, Alex was the recipient of the 2009 Dean's award in Fine Arts, starred in main stage productions, and also took the time to talk about what his experiences at IC meant to him, as an artist and as a person.
