Professional Development Opportunity - applications for Leadership Tompkins due soon!Contributed by Kristin LiBritz on 07/17/11 Ithaca College will sponsor up to two staff or faculty members to participate in Leadership Tompkins for the 2011/2012 program year. This is a community leadership development program providing opportunities to learn about leadership and to build relationships with the off-campus community. The program runs from September through June, with monthly day-long trainings on a variety of leadership lessons. Each month participants visit a different business or nonprofit organization in Tompkins County to learn about the issues facing our community while networking with leaders. In addition to the monthly sessions, participants complete a Community Action Project. Please note that the program kicks off with a retreat in September, which is a two-day session.
