Dr. Donathan Brown, Assistant Professor of Communication Studies, has just published an article in the latest issue ofCommunication Law Review. His study, "In Defense of Unity & English-Only: On the Early Political Battles to 'Unite' the Nation," studies the arguments waged in defense of unifying the nation around discriminatory state-level immigration reform and official language policies. Given the timeless nature of this topic, Dr. Brown will incorporate this study into his fall course, "Rhetoric and Social Order."
