Tomorrow at 10am: Summer Institute Scholars Present on Leadership and Identity (Park Aud.)Contributed by Joyti Jiandani on 08/02/11 Participants in this year’s Summer Institute will be presenting on Leadership and Identity. The Summer Institute exposes Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) students to the academic rigor they will encounter in the fall. As a culminating event, students are encouraged to conduct research and present their ideas on a given topic. With the use of poetry, song and dance, students express this year’s topic.
This event is open to the campus and we encourage students, faculty and staff to attend in efforts to show support for this year’s summer scholars.
Date: Thursday, August 4th Time: 10am-12:30pm Location: Park Auditorium
You can also stop by for the first hour. We want our summer scholars to feel supported, so even just seeing your presence for a specific amount of time is important.
