ITS has been actively battling a computer trojan outbreak on Windows computers. One way computers are being infected is through a web page. A picture of the web page is available on http://ithaca.edu/its/help/docs/Virus_Message/. If you get directed to this web page, DO NOT, click on the "Browser Update" button.

ITS has been monitoring this situation since early morning and will continue to do so. We are actively disconnecting infected computers from the network and will be sending out technicans to clean infected machines.
