Hello, aspiring jazz players!

The materials needed to prepare for audition for placement into this year's IC Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Lab Bands are available for download online.  Auditions will be held on August 31st. 

Please note that everyone who is interested in playing in a jazz ensemble this year must sign-up prior to (and audition on) August 31st; we will not re-audition for the spring semester.

To begin, please read everything on the following page & download the audition documents and sample MP3s:

Once you've read everything on the page, go to the signup page (which is also contained on the info page above, by the way):

The process is a bit involved; click the above signup link, then fill in your ITHACA.EDU email address and submit. You will then receive an email with a password and link to the actual signup page.

The auditions will occur on the evening of Wednesday August 31st.  Before that night, I will email specific time slots for everyone's auditions. So, please leave that night open and available.  If you have a definite conflict, let me know precisely what the conflict is and I'll try to work around it.
