Ithaca College

The deadline for 33rd Annual Choral Composition Contest has been extended to September 10, 2011.  The Robert Campbell ’40, M.S. ’50 Endowed Choral Composition Prize will be awarded to the first place winner, sponsored by Ithaca College School of Music and the Roger Dean Publishing Company. 

Rules and guidelines for the competition are available on the contest website.  Six scores will be selected for performance by high school choirs and may be considered for publication by Roger Dean Publishing.  The Ithaca College Choir will premiere the commissioned choral work that evening, in addition to a new choral work by Carol Barnett. Finalists are required to be present at the performance of their work at the November 12, 2011 concert, where the winner will be announced and cash prizes awarded. 

The entry fee of $25 per score can be made payable to Ithaca College. Please view requirements and details listed at the contest website.  Note that names should NOT be included on the score.
