Ron, Natural Sciences Librarian, and Laura, Health Sciences Librarian, have co-authored an article in the Summer 2011 issue of "Issues in Science and Technology Librarianship" (ISTL).

The refereed article, "Reference Management Software: a Comparative Analysis of Four Products", compares four prominent reference management options: CiteULike, RefWorks, Mendeley, and Zotero, in terms of features offered and the accuracy of the bibliographies that they generate.  ISTL is a quarterly publication of the Science and Technology Section of the Association of College and Research Libraries.

Congratulations Laura and Ron!! We are so fortunate to have such talented librarians here at IC, and this is further evidence that they are world-class and widely recognized as such. I found the article to be very well written and organized, and is exemplary of a thorough and comprehensive article. Reference management is an important tool for academics of any field, and the analysis that Ron and Laura performed brings clarity and transparency to the seemingly opaque process of choosing a reference manager. You can find the article at the following link, http://www.istl.org/11-summer/refereed2.html

Again, congratulations to Ron and Laura!
