Successful First Rehearsal for the Intergenerational Choir! Still seeking new members!Contributed by Emily Mason on 09/15/11 There was a fantastic turn out for the Intergenerational Choir’s first rehearsal on Tuesday night. Thanks to everyone who participated! And, we are still welcoming new members- especially male voices! Intergen is a fun, low-pressure way to make music while giving back to the Ithaca community and making new friends. We rehearse Tuesday nights from 7-8pm at Longview, a residential senior retirement community. Transportation is provided with trips over to Longview starting at 6:40pm at the entrance to the Whalen School of Music. The ensemble will be directed by Dr. Emily Mason, Nellie Morley (Dana Intern), and Amanda Saperstein this year.
