As previously announced, all SPSS network license users must upgrade to SPSS 19 by October 1, 2011. To request an upgrade, fill out this form. If you do not request an upgrade then networked copies of SPSS 18 will stop working. Individuals and departments who have purchased their own copies of SPSS (not from ITS) will not be affected by this change.

ITS provides an annual networked license of SPSS to academic departments who request it. The networked license cost is much less then what an individual can purchase but has some constraints associated with it:

• The license for SPSS Statistics is a PER YEAR subscription, lasting from June 1st through May 30th and must be renewed annually.
• These subscriptions expire unless renewed every fiscal year.
• Users are limited to whatever version(s) of SPSS ITS makes available
• ITS upgrades versions annually over the summer

New requests for SPSS can be processed at any time. All new requests will be for SPSS 19, will cost $85.00 per license and will expire May 30, 2012.
