The Ithacan is looking for an online editor to plan (in cooperation with the paper’s section editors), coordinate and edit The Ithacan Online’s daily stories. Duties include identifying and assigning stories to reporters and photos to photographers, editing the stories and uploading them to the paper’s WordPress-based website. Journalism experience and a thorough knowledge of Associated Press style are required. Knowledge of WordPress and search engine optimization strategies are also desirable.
