Faculty Council recently voted to establish a Committee for College-wide Requirements (CCR) to have responsibility for reviewing any proposed College-wide requirements (e.g., a general education requirement) and curricular issues related to such a requirement.

CCR will consist of one faculty member from each school, selected by the faculty members of that school, two at-large faculty members elected by the faculty, and the Director of General Education (ex officio).

As Marisa has made clear (Next Steps in Developing the All College Integrative Core Curriculum (ICC)), work on the Integrative Core Curriculum (ICC) is of the utmost importance, and the goal is to have CCR in place by mid October.
