This year your annual United Way of Tompkins County pledge card will be delivered through our campus mail system.

Our campus contribution goal for this year is $72,000. Last year, nearly 21% of faculty and staff contributing, Ithaca College proudly raised almost $71,000 for the United Way to distribute for the benefit of thousands of individuals in our local communities. Targeted areas included such efforts as Hunger and Food Security and Urgent Rx Prescription Programs. Today there is an increasing request for basic need services, including requests for services from households who have never before sought or considered seeking assistance.

If you gave last year, please give again now. If you have not participated in the past, please find a way to give now. If each of us that contributed last year now matches that pledge we will immediately reach our $72,000 goal. Imagine what the result of an increase in participation would achieve!

Remember that payroll deduction makes the giving easier by spreading out the contribution over time.

Please complete your pledge card and return it in the envelope provided without delay. All gifts are welcome and appreciated. A gift in any amount will result in an important positive impact for our neighbors and community members.
