Ithaca College

The final phase of the School of Music's web streaming project was successfully realized with the airing of the October 5th Concert Band performance.  Using the new, high-definition cameras with remote control capabilities in Ford Hall, more than 150 people enjoyed the event virtually.

The next concert to be streamed live is the Ithaca College Jazz Ensemble, on October 13th at 8:15pm.

The National Conference for Undergraduate Research marked the first event in which the video system was used to broadcast Branford Marsalis' keynote speech to rooms in the School of Music, Park School Auditorium, and to the Textor Lecture Halls. The School of Music now features monitors placed around the building to show not only announcements and upcoming events, but also live high-definition feeds of concerts in our major performance halls.
