Performance and World Music Workshop with the Band Alash Tuvan Throat Singers from Central AsiaContributed by Denise Nuttall on 10/06/11
Hosted by the Departments of Theater Arts and Anthropology with support from The School of Humanities and Sciences Educational Grant Initiative and the Diversity Awareness Committee, IC modern dancers will perform alongside Alash during a few songs. The performance will be held Tuesday October 11th at Dillingham Studio # 2 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. The World Music workshop on Tuvan throat singing will be held Wednesday October 12th at the James J.
