Two Ithaca College staff members are recipients of the J.J. Staff Scholar Award.

I am pleased to announce that two Ithaca College staff members are recipients of the J.J. Staff Scholar Award.

Denise Wells, who works in the Office of Graduate and Professional Studies, is a graduate student enrolled in the M.S. in Communications program; her expected graduation date is December 2011.

Denise is a black belt and a member of Southern Tier Martial Arts. She is also an adjunct instructor at SUNY Broome Community College where she teaches Business Information Technology. 

When asked about her career goals, Denise replied "I am very interested in teaching and continuing to work in higher education."

Congratulations Denise, on your graduation this December, and on being a recipient of the
J.J. Staff Scholar Award.
