Ever wondered where you chocolate came from?

Join the IC chapter of Free the Slaves for a free screening of the Dark Side of Chocolate! TODAY Wednesday, October 12 at 8:00 in Textor 101. There will be free food at the showing.

The Dark Side of Chocolate exposes the ongoing use of child, forced, and trafficked labor in the West African cocoa industry. It follows the story of Danish journalist Miki Mistrati as he travels to Mali, where footage reveals illegal trafficking of small children into the cocoa fields in the Ivory Coast. It is an exciting film that looks at the large chocolate corporations, like Nestly and Mars, and what they are doing to help end slavery in their industry. There will also be suggestions about what you can do to help!
