Associate Professor Jeff Holmes and Professor Barney Beins participated in a symposium at the Best Practices: Teaching Introductory Psychology Conference in Atlanta. Their symposium, which also included Professor Rick Miller from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, was entitled Incorporating Undergraduate Research Experiences into the Introductory Psychology Course.
 

In addition, Barney Beins presented in a session entitled The History of Psychology: It's Not Just for Capstones Any More. This session also included Professor Ken Keith from the University of San Diego.

This conference is an annual meeting on the teaching of psychology sponsored by the Society for the Teaching of Psychology, a division of the American Psychological Association.
