REMINDER: The last day to renew your upgrade/maintenance plans for department-owned copies of Adobe software is Friday, October 28th. If your upgrade/maintenance plan expires and a new version of the Adobe software you use comes out, you'll have to pay for the full version. If you currently use Adobe software that is the most current version (Acrobat X or CS 5.5, for example), and don't have an upgrade plan, you are eligible to purchase one until October 28th. Adobe's upgrade plan keeps your software current, for only a fraction of the cost of buying new licenses and media--potentially saving your department hundreds of dollars (or more, if you oversee a large lab) over the life of the program. To see if your software is eligible for an upgrade plan, or to renew your current one, contact Craig Canfield in the Bookstore. |
