Want to write a novel? In just 30 days? Come to the first meeting of IC NaNo, this Wednesday at 7pm in Williams 202!

 ---

So, you've had an idea for a novel for a while. Or maybe, a few ideas. You always thought your name would look sexy in bold print on a hardcover book or Kindle.

But, things have held you back -- school, chores, jobs, video games, staring aimlessly out a window -- and you haven't penned that novel yet.

IT IS TIME.

Time to put on your noveling shoes (or socks, or slippers, or bare feet) because IC NaNo is back!

IC NaNo is the Ithaca College student organization dedicated to providing fun and support for writers of all ages, creeds, and experience to participate in the annual National Novel Writing Month that occurs each November. The challenge? To write 50,000 words in 30 days. It's ridiculous, insane...and fantastic.

From writing majors, to biology majors, to finance minors, there is a seed of a story in you. Let IC NaNo help you bring it out.

THE FIRST CLUB MEETING will be held this Wednesday, at 7pm, in Williams 202. There will be an introduction to the event for those who are new. If you cannot make it, there will be A SECOND CLUB MEETING held on Friday at 5pm in Williams 202, which will hold a short introduction before focusing on pre-writing and possibilities for write-ins this semester.

Even if you aren't sure you want to join, stop by! We're fun people (somewhat crazy, but fun) and would love to talk to you about our own successes, failures, and nostalgic memories.
