The application for the Alternative Spring Break Program is only open for a couple more days! Don't miss this amazing opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others!

Alternative Spring Break is a departmental program sponsored by the Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs that provides service opportunities for students who successfully apply for participation at a variety of sites across the eastern United States. The program will be held from March 10 - March 18 2012.

Here are the locations for 2012:

  • Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration and Community Service (Pensacola, FL) - $475.00 / $425.00 for student drivers
  • Service and Learning on the Allegany Native Peoples Territory in Western New York (Salamanca, NY) - $275.00 all participants
  • Service, Learning, and Networking in Washington D.C. (Washington D.C.) - $425.00 / $375.00 for student drivers
  • The Impact of Mountain Top Coal Mining in West Virginia: Examining and Addressing Natural Resource Extraction in Appalachia and Beyond (Beckley, WV) - $350.00 / $300.00 for student drivers
  • Disaster Recovery: Rebuild Joplin, Missouri (Joplin, MO) - $375.00 / $325.00 for student drivers
