WICB won First Place in the "Best Station Imaging" category of the College Broadcasters, Inc. Student Production Awards. The award was presented at the National College Media Convention in Orlando on Friday, October 28. "Imaging" involves the creative produced bits radio stations play between songs that convey the image of the station to its audience. The category was open to all student radio and television stations. The package of three "breakers" was produced by David Haug '11. WICB was a national finalist in the "Best PSA" and "Best Sports Play-By-Play" categories of the competition.
