Invisible Children Documentary "Tony" & Ugandan Speaker, Wednesday at 7:00pm in Williams 225Contributed by Jonathan Keenan on 10/31/11 IC For Invisible Children & TOMS Club is presenting the documentary "Tony". Roadies from Invisible Children are coming to answer questions and a speaker from Uganda is coming to share her story in Williams 225 at 7:00pm. Tony is the story about a boy who was a survivor of the civil war raging in Central Africa affecting Northern Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Southern Sudan, and Central African Republic. 3 filmmakers from Invisible Children met Tony on their first visit in 2003 and this documentary chronicles Tony's experience with Invisible Children and his life now. Afterwords, Grace, a survivor from Uganda, will be sharing her story to the students as well. The event is free.
