David Parks, tenor, professor of voice at Ithaca College School of Music, recently presented a master class for high school students, in affiliation with the the Otsego County Music Educators Association.  The topic of the October 29th presentation was Auditioning for College Vocal Music Programs.

Parks, a member of Ithaca College faculty since 1987 continues to be an active performer.  This past summer he sang the tenor solos in Haydn's Creation with the Mount Desert Island Chorale. 

During the 2011 spring semester, Parks sang the tenor solos in the Verdi Requiem with Hamilton College, and the solos in Bach's B Minor Mass with Cornell University and the Syracuse Symphony.
