I am very excited to announce the new IC Faculty Colloquium designed to provide a forum for faculty to share with one another their scholarly and creative work. This is a chance for people across department and school lines to learn more about the exciting pursuits of their colleagues and to engage with one another as members of a common learning community.

This new colloquium will be held monthly, starting with an inaugural presentation by Dr. Lily Sheehan of the Department of English.  Dr. Sheehan will present ““their best selves”: Fashion, Fantasy, and Race in the Harlem Renaissance.”

Please join me from 5:30-7:00pm on Thursday, November 17th in the Taughannock Falls Meeting Room. We will enjoy wine, appetizers, an outstanding presentation, and excellent conversation.  I look forward to seeing you there.
