An Institute faculty member, staff member, and five students recently traveled to Saratoga Springs to attend the 39th Annual Conference of the State Society on Aging of New York State, “Seasons of Change: Promoting the Well-Being of Older Adults in a Challenging Environment.”

 

Christine Pogorzala, Assistant Professor and IC/LV Partnership Coordinator, presented a poster, “Evidence of the Enduring Appeal of Intergenerational Activities: The Ithaca College – Longview Partnership.” Christine Decker, Project Coordinator for the Finger Lakes Geriatric Education Center grant, also attended the conference, along with students Emily Badmann, Lauren Campasano, Vicki Centurelli, Corey Corsaro, and Marissa Levenson. The students, all senior Aging Studies majors, won for the College the 2011 Student Attendance Award.
