Frack Off is pleased to premiere the new documentary film All Fracked Up II: Water Isn't Water Anymore, with filmmakers Jeff and Jodi Andrysick, Park Hall Auditorium, Thursday, Nov. 7, at 7:00 p.m. The screening will be followed by a Q&A/discussion with the filmmakers.

Jeff, a lifelong fisherman and hunter with a deep love for the land, and his wife, Jodi, who can drive a tractor with the best of them, have built several energy-efficient, off-grid homes and buildings, including those on their own farmstead on beautiful Keuka Lake. They never intended to become filmmakers, but when industry threatened to turn their beloved lake and region into an industrial wasteland, they decided to devote their resources to fighting the threat, and filmmaking seemed to be a good way to do this.

The two are deeply committed to keeping Finger Lakes wine, tourism, and farming safe from environmental and societal harm. With 550 fellow citizens, the Andrysicks kept Keuka Lake and their town of Pulteney from becoming a billion-gallon toxic-frack-fluid dumpsite. This past June they hosted the “EPIC No Frack Event” at Ithaca College, which drew some 2,000 people to enjoy a day of speakers, music, art, and films.

Donations are requested to help keep the Andrysicks plowing forward on the multi-vendor farm-and-craft market they’ve put on hold for the last two years while engaging in this work and making their films. Contributions can be made via PayPal at www.AllFrackedUp.com or with a cash or check at the screening.

This event is cosponsored by the Park School of Communications, the Department of Environmental Studies and Sciences, and an anonymous campus donor.

Frack Off meets Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. in Friends 202. New members are invited and welcome.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodation, please contact Maura Stephens, mstephens@ithaca.edu, 607-274-3829, as far in advance of the event as possible.
