On November 8, 2011, the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures held its annual Honor Society Program in the Clark Lounge at 5 p.m. After a warm welcome by Michael Richardson (Chair, Associate Professor of German Area Studies) and address by Associate Dean David García, faculty in French, German Area Studies, Italian Studies, and Spanish inducted some of their finest students into their respective honor societies. 

Students inducted into Pi Delta Phi (French): Aimee DeLorenzo, Nathaniel Stritzinger, Justin Wolczynski

Students inducted into Delta Phi Alpha Iota Chi (German): James R. Annand, Jolene L. Cochran, Virginia R. Dodge, Evan L. Johnson, Christopher M. Zivalich

Students inducted into Gamma Kappa Alpha (Italian): Sarah Bratt, Sean Killian, Leah Page

Students inducted into Sigma Delta Pi Iota Pi Chapter (Spanish): Alaine Blessman, Melanie Burian, Brittany Concannon, Sara Noble, Krystina Puleo, Victoria Samborski, Elizabeth Schwartzer, Hannah Smith, Eva Maria Toure, Jacqueline Weinstein
