Join us on Wednesday, November 29th at 12pm in Ithaca Falls Room! Don Austin will be presenting on how to recruit and manage volunteers at IC!

Many student organizations at Ithaca College utilize volunteer service in some capacity. However, the details of volunteer management are often overlooked or undervalued as an important field of information to track. This session will examine the best practices for recruiting volunteers, managing their time, and recognizing volunteer efforts on a consistent basis. Being better prepared to manage volunteers will help many student leaders fulfill their group’s objective more efficiently. Participants in this session will leave with knowledge useful for the “Three R’s” of volunteer management: recruitment, retention, and recognition!
