COURSE TITLE: Creating multisensory environments through the exploration of Finnish culture and food

RLS 16000: Special Topics in Recreation

COURSE DESCRIPTION: An experimental learning course that introduces the history, development and program design of multisensory environments through an exploration of Finnish culture and food, which will, include participation in demonstrations of multisensory space experiences, movement and body awareness.  Topics include:  how to apply body awareness to client work, a description of Finnish socio cultural multisensory work, and how to prepare traditional Finnish food.
