The next Faculty Show & Share session is on Thursday, November 17, Noon - 1:00 PM, in Job 102.  Registration is appreciated but not required.  Register

Kurt Komaromi, faculty member in the Marketing and Law department in the School of Business will demonstrate the use of weblogs as a course management tool. Blogs designed and branded for specific courses employ podcasts, digital media, and supplemental resources to engage students who have grown up with the Internet and digital technologies. This allows the instructor to create a unique and personalized learning experience. He will connect these instructional strategies to research on the media consumption habits of the current generation of college students.

This is part of a new discussion series called "Faculty Show and Share" in The Center for Educational Technology. Each session features a guest faculty member who shows how they use a technology to address a teaching goal.  Come hear what worked  - or didn't work - in a format that is informal, experimental, and fun.  Discussion is encouraged and anyone is welcomed regardless of their experience with technology.
