The Education Department is pleased to announce that Dr. Mo Baptiste will be presenting at the 25th Annual University Counsel Education Association taking place in Pittsburgh, PA. This year’s theme is: Forecasting the Future of Leadership Preparation and Practice: Reclaiming Ground through Research, Policy, and Politics.

Dr. Baptiste will sit on a panel addressing Equity and Diversity in Leadership Preparation and Practice: Progress or Stagnation. The purpose of this session is to offer various frameworks to conceptualize the dynamics of educational equality, diversity, and leadership development both at the macro and micro-level, and to discuss, based on empirical evidence, the progress and stagnation of previous reforms efforts including policy mandates aimed at enhancing the learning opportunities of all learners.
