The Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies is offering two outdoor adventure courses: The first course will prepare you with the skills needed to assist in medical emergencies in remote environments. Wilderness First Aid Certification or Wilderness First Responder Re-Certification awarded upon successful completion. RLS 18001 Wilderness Medicine
AND The second course takes place in Everglades National Park in Florida. It examines fundamental concepts and standard practices of a specific adventure skill discipline. Application of technical skills. Emphasizes core competencies required to manage clientele in adventure environments.
