 Jessica Polizzi inducted into the Italian National Honor Society

 Senior Jessica Polizzi has been inducted into Gamma Kappa Alpha, the Italian National Honor Society.

Membership in GKA is an acknowledgement of superior scholastic performance in the field of Italian language, literature and culture.  The society is open to membership at institutions of higher learning in the United States and Canada.  Congratulations, Jessica!

Jess, I hope you know that this intercom story effectively made my day--which says a lot, because I had an awesome day. This story is truly inspirational--after all, you were wrongly barred from this honor at first, but then, after you fought your way like the true hero that you are, gained your rightful spot in this elite, amazing, and truly useless club. That small country of Italy would be proud. Congrats, kid!
