Save the date on your calendar for next year's Alumni Weekend: October 12–14, 2012. Although we've called our alumni weekend event "Fall Splash" the last two years, for 2012 we're returning to the name that our alumni most easily recognize and appreciate!

Does your department have any special celebrations or anniversaries next year? If you would like to organize something during Alumni Weekend 2012, please contact Brenda Carlisle in the Office of Alumni Relations at 274-3194 or bcarlisle@ithaca.edu. The deadline for event requests is January 30, 2012.

Alumni Weekend 2012 will be jam-packed with events and activities, including:

• The Homecoming football game versus Buffalo State
• Class reunions for alumni whose class years end in "2" and "7"
• A School of Music alumni choral reunion honoring, and conducted by, Professor Lawrence Doebler
• The Martin Luther King Jr. Scholar Program's 10th anniversary
• The dedication of the Robert B. Tallman Rowing Center
