Diana Cui and Ashley Hunter were selected as finalists for the 2012 Most Promising Minority Students Program sponsored by the American Advertising Association (AAF). Each year, fifty students are chosen nationwide to receive the honor. Didi Shum was named to the program’s Honor Roll. AAF's Most Promising Minority Students Program is the premier advertising industry award program to recognize and recruit outstanding minority college graduates. The program not only honors the students, but also enhances their knowledge and understanding of the advertising industry by offering networking, interviewing, and industry immersion opportunities with industry professionals during a three-day event in New York City in February. Cui and Hunter are integrated marketing communications majors, and Shum is a business administration major. The students were nominated by their AAF faculty advisor, associate professor Scott Hamula. |
